A. Try out these 2 sites : If you are looking to make a rock crawler though, check out your local 4 X 4 clubs. A lot of those guy can fabricate stuff for you. But with only a 3 inch lift, I suspect you aren t doing any major off-roading.

A. First off I would disconnect the fuel line from the carb and see if you are getting gas from the tank. Second I would take off the air cleaner, put your hand over the carb air inlet and crank over the engine. You should see fuel on your hand or in the inlet of the carb. Did you drain the fuel before letting the bike sit? Put in some fresh as sitting bike tanks have a tendency to pick up moisture from condensation. If it's a two stroke don't forget to mix the oil with the gas. When you are certain the engine is getting gas, crank it over a few times and then pull the spark plug. If it is wet you are getting fuel from the carb to the cylinder(s). Clean off the plug and put it back in. Don't forget to set the gap according to your… [cont.]

How do you clean the carburetor of a 110cc offroad motorcyle engine?
Q. Just got a used motorcycle... but the carburetor needs cleaned. What solutions do i need to clean it? Do I take it all the way apart and clean it?
Asked by thunderbird985 - Sun Apr 27 18:22:37 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If it runs there are many fuel system cleaners you can use. I use a product called sea foam, it's an oil or gas additive and also a fuel stabilizer. Works great. If it won't run you'll have to tear the carb down & rebuild it, using a rebuild kit. Soak all of the parts in parts cleaner, making sure all the ports are open.

A. Dam, you don't ask for much. Just use some graft paper and draw it out. Put a start area, a turn, then a double, some berms, some wopdiedos, some more berms may bee a single jump and return. Pace it out on foot and use wood stakes, then start moving the dirt. It doesn't have to be fancy cause its your first one.

A. I don't recommend swapping the engine because as previously said; jeeps already have good engines. I do suggest getting some good tires and a small lift kit for about two to four more inches of clearance. Don't worry about cosmetic stuff like lamps and roof racks until later but in the meantime definitely get some good tires and the lift kit and you'll be good to go.

You can still get parts for some of their vehicles that are over 10 years old, so you will always be able to repair it. What is the ideal number of gears to go offroad cycling?
Q. i'm sorry, my question wasn't explained properly. I want to know what gear i should put my bike, in order to facilitate (oo big word) off road biking
Asked by Pierre C - Mon Mar 3 06:00:00 2008 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments
A. This is sort of an odd question. 7 speed rear and triple chain ring is plenty. But they tend to be on low end bikes that don't hold up well on the trails. 8 and 9 speed come on better bikes. So ideal I guess would be 9 x 3.

A. There are a few out there just depends on what look you want and how much you want to spend. The first link is a search that brings up different companies that make them, the others are some that I like but so far I favor the Iceland for looks. Last but not least check out NAGCA.com and Jeepsunlimited forums for more info on anything ZJ or jeep for that matter. if you want to look on other sites try searching "ZJ offroad bumper" in case you didn't know ZJ is the designation for the 93-98 Grand Cherokee

A. I think you're wanting to get a full-face style helmet, right? If that's what you mean by offroad and moto. I don't think I've ever seen any for $50 or under, not even on super closeout sales. There are some good ones that won't break the bank, though. Pryme makes a decent one that usually sells for $65-$80 and I think Pro-Tec has one in that range, too. Bell, Azonic, and Giro all have some cheaper models if you shop around. Full-face helmets can get expensive quickly, but most of them are $140 or less, several of them in the $90-$120 range. Look at , , , and for good helmet deals. Nashbar and Performance usually have good closeouts and often offer coupons for an even greater deal on a helmet. Also, check out the Pro-Tec [cont.]
