What is the difference between the Kawasaki ninjas 250r and 650r?
Q. I looked into the Kawasaki store because of all they hype I've been hearing about this Ninja 250r, but looking at the specs of it i was dissappointed. A 4 stroke engine being at 248cc capacity? And this being considered a sportbike? uh, what? not to mention how light and small it is, which could be dangerous since it's a fully faired bike. Is there anything that makes the 650r ninja any different/better?

A. well the 650 has a 649cc engine hints the name 650r and the 250r has a 248cc engine hints that name 250r. the 250r is for beginners or some people (mainly girls or smaller guys that might need a smaller size bike in general) that might not want a powerful bike. if you're a beginner i'd advise to get a smaller less powerful bike first for about a year and then get a more powerful bike. i've seen so many people especially beginners think they can handle a more powerful bike but then the bike gets totaled within a few months because they tried showing off or do something stupid. so ya the 650 is more powerful obviously but not sure how much more power or speed it might have. if you think you're a real man and want a Kawasaki get the Z1000… [cont.]

Are Kawasaki motorcycles more expensive as far as maintenance when compared to Suzuki?
Q. I'm looking for a good "beginner" bike. I have heard that Kawasaki is a harder and more expensive bike to work on than a Suzuki. Is this true?

A. not true. the person that told you that was just a Suzuki fanatic. No one brand is worse than others, other than if you are in the US and want a Euro bike like BMW or Guzzi. they cost more and require more maintainance.

My 05 kawasaki kfx 400 will start up and then rev really high up then just die. Any ideas whats wrong with it?

A. sounds like its not getting enuf fuel cheak the fuel lines
