From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. A question may be either a linguistic expression used to make a request for information, or else the request itself made by such an expression. This information is provided with an answer. Questions are normally put or asked using interrogative sentences. But they can also be put by imperative sentences, which normally express commands: "Tell me what two plus two is"; conversely, some expressions, such as "Would you pass the butter?", have the grammatical form of questions but actually function as requests for action, not for answers; making them allofunctional. (A phrase such as this could, theoretically, also be viewed not merely as a request but as an observation of the other person's desire to comply with the request given.) From Wikipedia under the
GNU Free Documentation License Undecided Voters: How persuasive are political questions and comments posted on the web? Q. I'm directing this question to those still undecided. I've been reading political questions, articles, and comments on various news websites as well as wiki/answer sites such as this one. The questions posed and articles written are highly partisan. Even when the Q&A are unbiased, the comments are often from highly partisan voters whose agenda is only to announce their allegience to a certain candidate, sometimes not by the proper means (character attacks against the other candidate). My question is: how effective are these questions, articles, and comments in affecting the undecided voters? Maybe go to a franchising expo and ask head offices of franchises what they think of those who helped them franchise their operations. You may be able to find out by asking some local franchisees who may own a few franchises about who their head office used. Just some thoughts. Other than that, a q for a franchise consultant may be about saturation. Franchisers hate when a franchising head office places too many of their franchises so close that they cannibalize the area operation. Keep your franchisees happy by not stacking them so close that they all want out. Q. Personally I am so tired that I get heart burns every time I see it being asked and that is, Is the world going to end in 2012. What about you which question are you tired of being asked? Can we change the questions up for now on. Asked by Sirius R g n rat d - Sat Aug 23 23:22:18 2008 - - 34 Answers - 0 Comments A. I have been answering questions here for less than a year. I want to answer according to my knowledge and give an honest one in doing it. But with some of the questions which look like they belong here and you click them and get, "Should I wear..." or "My bf is ..." and of course the ones where the person wants to know "if it's true that..." I hate the 2012 ones also.
